TL;DR
Mechanical Draftsperson (HVAC) (CAD/mechanical services): Producing fabrication-ready CAD drawings for HVAC installations, coordinating ductwork and equipment layouts, and supporting equipment schedules and O&M manuals with an accent on precision, constructability, and documentation quality. Focus on checking dimensions, clearances, airflow tags, equipment data, and coordination across trades before client approval and site installation.
Location: Onsite in Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, or Cebu, Philippines. Work schedule: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Manila time, aligned with 9:00 AM–5:00 PM AEDT Sydney.

What you will do
- Produce detailed CAD drawings for mechanical and HVAC installations, including ductwork layouts, plant rooms, equipment installations, and site installation references.
- Prepare fabrication-ready ductwork drawings with dimensions, bend and radius sizing, insulation allowances, set-downs, levels, and clearances.
- Coordinate drawings against building structures and other trade services to ensure designs can be installed as shown.
- Nominate and tag grilles, diffusers, and louvres with types, sizes, design airflows, and matching schedule information.
- Prepare equipment schedules, obtain supplier data after client approval, and incorporate equipment and connection details into drawings.
- Compile O&M manuals and technical data sheets, including plain-language descriptions of air-conditioning system operation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, with experience drafting mechanical or HVAC services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe applications such as Acrobat for PDF markup and document preparation.
- Methodical, meticulous, self-critical working style with strong attention to detail and ownership of drawing quality.
- Ability to review drawings for missing tags, incorrect dimensions, incomplete information, clutter, and inconsistencies before submission.
