Junior Test Bench Engineer (Electrolysis)

What you will do

• Design, construct, and improve end-to-end automated test benches covering mechanical, electrical, software, and process systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain test benches, instrumentation, controls, sensors, and actuators.
• Design electrolysis subsystems using thermal calculations, heat balances, and fluid pressure-drop calculations.
• Develop test protocols and validate electrolysis subsystems and prototypes.
• Implement and tune PID control loops for pressure, temperature, flow, and related process parameters.
• Document systems, benchmark suppliers, manage supplier contacts, and improve inventory processes.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building mechanical gas and liquid management systems, including relevant fittings.
• Experience with sensors and actuators for measuring and controlling gases and liquids.
• Ability to perform heat-balance and fluid-line pressure-drop calculations.
• Pragmatic, versatile, safety-aware, and solution-oriented approach with strong work ethic.
• Professional English is required as the daily working language.

Nice to have

• Experience coding automation sequences in Python or C++.
• Experience using CAD software.
