Deputy Team Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: Manchester Plant, Trafford Park, United Kingdom; onsite role with 12.5-hour day and night shifts

Salary: £49,161.84 per year during qualification, increasing to £52,414.44 per year once qualified.

What you will do

• Develop the technical capability required to operate production lines and follow manufacturing systems and standards.
• Lead the operating team in the Team Leader’s absence and support safe, high-quality, efficient production.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and process issues.
• Support maintenance planning, breakdown repairs, and execution of the “run to target” approach.
• Coach colleagues and collaborate with support departments to improve performance.
• Complete an extended day-shift onboarding period before transitioning to a rotating operating team.

Requirements

• Technical mastery in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and a passion for problem-solving.
• Strong verbal and written English language skills.
• Continuous right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment, without sponsorship from Procter & Gamble.
• Availability for a 12.5-hour shift pattern covering both days and nights.
