A/R Specialist (Fintech)

Salary: $22.74–$37.93 per hour

What you will do

• Manage proactive client engagement and collection efforts for assigned B2B accounts.
• Investigate and resolve billing inquiries, payment delays, and account discrepancies.
• Identify delinquency trends and root causes and partner with leadership on preventive solutions.
• Use enterprise financial systems and automated cash application platforms for payment matching, reconciliation, and workflow optimization.
• Prepare account analyses and aging reports for internal stakeholders and financial leadership.
• Complete month-end closing activities, customer account adjustments, and assigned financial projects.

Requirements

• Direct experience in B2B collections and commercial accounts receivable operations.
• Experience with Workday or a comparable ERP system.
• Familiarity with automated cash application software.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills for organizing, analyzing, and reconciling financial data.
• Clear and diplomatic communication with clients and internal business partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, or equivalent practical experience.
