Accounts Receivable Specialist (AI)

Location: Onsite Monday through Friday in Pico Rivera, California; no remote work is available and no relocation package is offered.

Salary: $33–$42 per hour, non-exempt

What you will do

• Research and resolve customer deductions related to pricing, rebates, damages, shortages, and freight claims.
• Manage chargebacks and deduction disputes through customer portals, documenting and tracking issues through resolution.
• Partner with Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators to investigate account discrepancies.
• Monitor open disputes, follow up with assigned customer accounts, and respond to Accounts Receivable inquiries.
• Maintain accurate account records and support timely reconciliation in a high-volume AR environment.
• Use technology and AI tools to improve reconciliation, reporting, and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting or high-volume accounts receivable experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience supporting large retail or Big Box customer accounts; manufacturing or distribution experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central version 14.5 or later.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude for reconciliation, reporting, and workflow improvement.
• Strong communication, organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
