Director, Supply Chain (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ or Miami, FL; authorization to work in the United States is required.

What you will do

• Build and lead the non-vehicle supply chain function covering procurement, purchasing, inventory, and vendor management.
• Design scalable procurement policies, approval workflows, purchase order lifecycles, governance controls, SOPs, and training.
• Run RFP and competitive sourcing cycles across facilities, equipment, MRO, software, professional services, logistics, and other indirect spend.
• Negotiate vendor contracts, MSAs, statements of work, renewals, pricing, payment terms, and service levels.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, performance management, risk reviews, preferred-vendor programs, inventory control, receiving, and stock accuracy.
• Lead and develop the purchasing, inventory and receiving, and vendor relations teams while reporting KPIs and savings to Finance leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or vendor and contract management, including building processes from scratch.
• Experience running RFP or competitive sourcing cycles and negotiating vendor contracts, MSAs, and commercial terms.
• Experience designing purchase order, receiving, inventory, and operational controls.
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills with measurable cost savings and improved terms.
• Experience managing and developing a team in an ambiguous, fast-scaling, multi-entity environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in mobility, autonomous vehicles, fleet, logistics, or automotive industries.
• Experience with modern ERP or procurement systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• High-growth startup experience.
• CPSM, CSCP, or a similar supply chain or procurement certification.
• MBA.
