Senior Engineer I - Yield Enhancement (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own product and technology yield responsibility for semiconductor wafer-fab devices.
• Analyze production and engineering data to identify and resolve yield issues at parametric and wafer-sort testing.
• Design, coordinate, and analyze manufacturing process experiments to improve product yield and performance.
• Use probe stations, parametric evaluation equipment, bit mappers, microscopes, and other test equipment for engineering data collection and failure analysis.
• Support new product introductions, process-flow implementation, and product or process transfers between facilities.
• Coordinate with process, product, design, and test engineering teams while planning technical projects and communicating findings to management.

Requirements

• BSEE with 5 or more years of relevant experience, or MSEE with 2 or more years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, transistor characteristics, and integrated-circuit wafer-fab manufacturing.
• Understanding of basic digital and analog circuits and their characterization.
• Familiarity with semiconductor parameter analyzers, oscilloscopes, curve tracers, multimeters, power supplies, and generators.
• Knowledge of statistical functions and SPC, including normal distributions, Cpk, analysis of variance, and correlation techniques.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, solve problems, and present findings effectively.
