Account Executive, Sales (Media Advertising)

What you will do

• Generate advertising revenue through agency outreach, cold-calling, and client presentations.
• Grow revenue and consistently exceed assigned sales goals.
• Build relationships with local businesses and maintain existing accounts.
• Develop new accounts and provide information about advertising rates across media channels.
• Create advertising schedules with clients and station personnel.
• Collaborate with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• At least one year of sales experience, preferably in media.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long-term objectives and implementing strategies to reach them.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
