Material Coordinator - 2nd Shift ($23.23+)

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin, United States. On-site second-shift role, generally Monday–Thursday for four 10-hour days, with overtime as needed.

Salary: $23.23+ per hour, including the second-shift premium. Base starting rate is $21.23 per hour, with merit increases at 6 months, 12 months, and annually.

What you will do

• Coordinate parts for manufacturing departments and support production throughput.
• Use the ERP system to transact inventory, investigate discrepancies, check part availability, and coordinate movement between facilities.
• Manage warehouse picking schedules, line-side inventory, material presentation, labels, and work-order part placement.
• Locate missing materials, perform cycle counts, verify parts using prints, and track area performance metrics.
• Operate forklifts, tow motors, tractors, carts, and other material-handling equipment to move parts safely.
• Support co-workers and new staff through communication, training, part handling, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• Previous warehousing and material-handling experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other powered industrial or material-handling equipment safely.
• Ability to use computers, email, ERP systems, and inventory-tracking tools.
• Ability to lift and manipulate parts or equipment weighing up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, climb, and work throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, communicate in a loud environment, and maintain excellent attendance.
• Ability to work required hours, overtime, and occasionally retrieve parts outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a Pierce team member or contractor.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
