Casualty Claims Representative

Location: Boise, Idaho, United States. After initial in-person training, the role may include work-from-home time as defined by leadership. Travel may be required for onsite investigations or meetings, and punctual attendance is required at a company-approved work location.

What you will do

• Investigate assigned casualty claims by collecting statements, physical evidence, and legal documentation.
• Analyze policy coverage and determine liability and damages.
• Negotiate claim settlements within company procedures and authority limits.
• Communicate claim status to insureds, agents, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and follow regulatory and internal standards.
• Travel for onsite investigations or meetings and participate in claims training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• At least 3 years of casualty claims experience.
• Basic understanding of casualty policy language.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to gather and interpret information, manage tasks efficiently, and work with diverse customers.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
