Field Operations Specialist (IT)

Location: 75 Steel City Ct, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; frequent travel and on-site visits across regional Ontario locations are required.

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 annually

What you will do

• Provide end-user support across multiple Ontario locations and resolve incidents within service-level agreements.
• Support Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS devices in a Microsoft 365 environment.
• Maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including Azure, Intune, Active Directory, and other Microsoft services.
• Deploy, image, configure, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, peripherals, and network equipment across 40+ sites.
• Coordinate with vendors, contribute to knowledge bases and onboarding, and recommend IT support improvements.
• Promote cybersecurity best practices and provide basic user guidance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an IT support role, ideally in office and industrial environments.
• Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft 365, TCP/IP, VPN, and core networking concepts.
• System administration experience with Hybrid Azure / Active Directory, Intune, and MDM.
• Experience maintaining Cisco switches, Fortinet switches, and firewalls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and flexibility to travel frequently across regional sites.
