Community Department Manager

Location: New York, New York, United States. The role includes travel across the region and support for events outside standard business hours when required.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own and deliver the community strategy across New York in alignment with brand vision and business goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with gyms, fitness studios, ambassadors, athletes, influencers, and community partners.
• Plan and execute events, activations, and experiences that increase awareness, engagement, and customer connection.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and cross-functional teams on locally relevant initiatives supporting commercial performance.
• Identify opportunities to expand hirify.global's presence in existing and emerging fitness communities.
• Use insights, feedback, and performance data to improve community engagement and event effectiveness.

Requirements

• Experience in community management, partnerships, events, brand marketing, retail engagement, or a related field.
• Proven ability to build authentic relationships and meaningful community connections.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to connect community activity with measurable business outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging internal and external audiences.
• Passion for fitness and wellbeing, with flexibility to travel regionally and support events outside standard business hours.
