Senior Legal Counsel

Location: New York, NY; in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Base salary: $195,000–$225,000

What you will do

• Advise Enterprise leadership and stakeholders as a strategic legal and business partner.
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on complex corporate and commercial agreements.
• Support strategic transactions, investments, financings, and other corporate initiatives for Mammoth Labs and Finance.
• Advise on technology, data privacy, cybersecurity, AI-related matters, and emerging legal and regulatory issues.
• Advise the People team on employment-related legal matters and maintain company policies and procedures.
• Provide or oversee training for Enterprise stakeholders on relevant legal topics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and J.D., with admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience, including significant in-house experience.
• Experience across corporate, commercial, employment, and data privacy matters.
• Strong legal judgment, business-focused risk assessment, and the ability to anticipate emerging risks.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business guidance.
• Comfort using AI-enabled legal tools and interest in improving the quality and efficiency of legal work through technology.
