Full Stack Senior Consultant/ Software Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: US - Bellevue, WA; at least 3 days per week in the office required

Salary: $162,500–$260,400 USD per year, excluding potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Architect, build, and scale secure, reliable, production-grade generative AI and agentic applications.
• Own major GenAI subsystem architecture, lead design reviews, define reusable engineering patterns, and mentor I4/I5 engineers.
• Develop full-stack applications with React, backend services, APIs, workflow orchestration, secure data flows, and operational readiness.
• Build AI-enabled workflow automation with agent orchestration, tool execution, retrieval, human approval flows, guardrails, and auditability.
• Implement LLM and RAG capabilities, including prompt orchestration, tool calling, model routing, ingestion pipelines, embeddings, retrieval strategies, and evaluation.
• Deliver cloud-native applications with containers, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, tracing, governance, and monitoring.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• At least 8 years of experience designing, building, and operating complex distributed production systems.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, API design, cloud-native platforms, and data-intensive applications.
• Hands-on experience with React and backend development using Python, Node.js, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD, observability, and production operations.
• Availability to work from the Bellevue, Washington office at least 3 days per week is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic systems, or AI-enabled workflow automation.
• Knowledge of agent frameworks, memory systems, tool orchestration, MCP, and A2A.
• Experience driving technical strategy, leading cross-functional AI initiatives, and evolving proofs of concept into enterprise deployments.
• Expertise in system design trade-offs involving scalability, security, reliability, performance, cost, and developer productivity.
