Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Hybrid, with in-office collaboration Monday–Wednesday in Palo Alto, California

Salary: $145,600–$201,204 base pay annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Design and build frontend features for payroll, financial accounts, invoicing, and payment workflows.
• Improve user experiences for complex financial forms, dashboards, and monetary accounts.
• Build integrations with third-party payment vendors and backend APIs.
• Develop reusable, scalable frontend code and establish best practices for the invoices and payments domain.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across a primarily backend- and fullstack-focused team.
• Provide frontend expertise while contributing across backend services, databases, and infrastructure when needed.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional frontend or UX software engineering experience.
• Experience with React and TypeScript, frontend design patterns, API integration, and scalable frontend systems.
• At least 1 year building frontends and API frameworks for invoicing or financial systems, or 2+ years building frontends for complex forms and dashboards.
• Experience translating wireframes and mockups into reusable, scalable, and intuitive interfaces.
• Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL or a similar relational database system, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work across the full stack; approximately 80–90% of the role focuses on frontend and API work.

• Experience with country-specific or use-case-specific form generation and validation.
