Physicist (EO/IR/RF)

Location: Beavercreek, Ohio, United States; onsite role.

What you will do

• Develop and implement algorithms for EO/IR/RF phenomenologies.
• Generate EO/IR/RF signatures using commercial and government-off-the-shelf software.
• Model remotely sensed systems and develop data-analysis algorithms.
• Support infrared sensor data processing, exploitation, and dissemination.
• Develop missile and aircraft modeling and simulation capabilities for physics-based signature estimation.
• Contribute to test and analysis reports, briefings, and tool-development documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with EO/IR signature phenomenology for passive remote sensing and missile or aircraft systems.
• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or C++.
• Engineering and mathematical background in systems and EO/IR/RF signature generation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Active Secret Clearance required.

Nice to have

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Research, development, and data-analysis experience.
• Mechanical or aerospace engineering background and experience with modeling tools.
