Financial Consultant

Location: Smithtown, NY, with coverage across Long Island, including Ronkonkoma and East Setauket

Salary: $72,000–$96,000 per year

What you will do

• Sell non-deposit investment products and achieve established sales targets.
• Generate sales through outbound calls, appointment scheduling, and daily engagement with prospective clients.
• Lead branch sales meetings, briefings, and motivational sessions.
• Train branch employees on sales and investment products.
• Explain investment concepts clearly while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Build effective relationships with branch personnel and hold weekly meetings with Branch Managers across the assigned territory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of sales experience as a financial consultant.
• Current NYS Life, Accident & Health license.
• FINRA Series 7, 63, and Series 65 or 66 licenses.
• Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Banking experience is preferred.
