What you will do

• Operate chemical process systems and related production equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot processes to maintain required operating conditions.
• Load finished products for shipment and unload raw materials and products.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, enter work orders, and document equipment conditions.
• Conduct quality control testing and use Statistical Process Control to monitor process consistency and product quality.
• Complete production, laboratory, safety, and incident records while following Responsible Care and ISO management systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; chemical process technology education, a related associate degree, or military equivalency is preferred.
• Three years of chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, troubleshooting, process control, process improvement, laboratory practices, and basic mechanical tools.
• Understanding of PPE, confined-space entry, lockout/tagout, hot work, safe-work permits, emergency response, and hazard awareness.
• Ability to operate forklifts and aerial work platforms safely, use basic hand tools, and work outdoors, at heights, and with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour day/night schedule, overtime, call-outs, and changing shift assignments.
