Production Associate (Cylinder Filler)

Location: Rochester, NY, United States; onsite at the Deep Rock industrial filling facility

Salary: $25 per hour

What you will do

• Safely handle and fill liquid, medical, and high-pressure gas cylinders in accordance with operating procedures and applicable regulations.
• Inspect cylinders, caps, valves, labels, and color coding before filling; perform odor, safety, purity, and mixture checks.
• Prepare high-pressure cylinders and cryogenic vessels, connect manifolds, evacuate cylinders, and fill by pressure and weight.
• Load and unload cylinders from pallets and tractor trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain DOT, FDA, OSHA, and hirify.global records and complete quality-control documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to perform calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to follow safety programs, OSHA requirements, and applicable operating procedures.
• At least one year of related technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications.
