Professional Services Procurement Category Manager (Indirect Procurement): Establishing and leading a strategic Professional Services procurement category covering HR, Legal, Finance, Consulting, and advisory services with an accent on category strategy, spend visibility, sourcing, and supplier governance. Focus on transforming a fragmented, low-maturity spend area, influencing executive stakeholders, negotiating contracts, and driving measurable value through change management.

Location: Annecy, France (74); onsite role

What you will do

Define and lead the Professional Services procurement strategy, governance model, and multi-year roadmap.
Manage sourcing across HR, Legal, Finance, Consulting, Audit, Tax, and other advisory services.
Build spend visibility through taxonomies, dashboards, KPIs, and data-driven business cases.
Identify fragmented buying, supplier duplication, consolidation opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
Develop strategic supplier governance, including executive reviews, performance management, innovation, and rationalization.
Lead the transition toward Procurement-led sourcing through stakeholder engagement, training, communication, and change management.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in Indirect Procurement within a global organization of comparable size and complexity.
Significant experience managing Professional Services categories, including Consulting, Legal, HR, Audit, and Tax.
Experience building a procurement category in a low-maturity environment and delivering measurable value.
Strong contract negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, commercial judgment, and stakeholder-influence skills.
Experience engaging executive-level stakeholders and influencing without formal authority.
C1-level English required; role based in Annecy, France.

Nice to have

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Procurement, or a related field.
