Senior Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Pentagon, Washington, D.C., with regular local travel throughout the National Capital Region. Standard core hours are 09:00–15:00; travel is expected at 0–20%.

Basic compensation: $160,000–$200,000 annually for the Washington, D.C. area.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain NIPRNet, SIPRNet, AFSCI, SAP voice, video, and computing capabilities across PAE offices.
• Install or coordinate third-party installation of IT infrastructure at Pentagon and National Capital Region facilities.
• Manage IT projects from concept through completion, including budgeting, procurement, status reporting, and delivery.
• Execute cybersecurity controls, configuration control, inventory management, and system troubleshooting.
• Prepare and maintain authorization to operate and authorization to connect documentation.
• Coordinate with program managers, system owners, ISSMs, authorizing officials, engineering teams, and government IT organizations.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience operating IT systems in a government facility.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with IT systems at SCI and SAP levels, preferably within the Department of the Air Force.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and prior SAP experience required.
• Ability to install, operate, and maintain SAP IT systems, plus experience with AWS or Azure in an Air Force or DoD context.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio; strong project leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to obtain ISSO and/or ISSM appointments; CompTIA Security+ certification required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Cybersecurity.
• Information assurance, cybersecurity, or information security experience in federal or DoD environments.
