Salary: $124,420–$140,000 annually, plus bonus potential.

Company

hirify.global develops automotive, advanced driver-assistance, and autonomous-vehicle technologies focused on safer and more reliable mobility.

What you will do

  • Monitor fleet health, vehicle availability, downtime, readiness, and recurring failure trends across autonomous-vehicle test and data-collection fleets.
  • Investigate issues involving host-vehicle systems, autonomous-vehicle hardware, sensors, compute, instrumentation, connectivity, localization, calibration, charging, and software health.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause investigations from issue identification through containment, corrective action, validation, documentation, and closure.
  • Partner with Service Operations and technicians to prioritize work orders, improve repair quality, and reduce vehicle return-to-service time.
  • Analyze work-order, telemetry, incident, and operational data to identify reliability hotspots, repeat failures, and utilization improvements.
  • Translate operational issues into defect reports, corrective-action plans, test requests, retrofit recommendations, maintenance practices, and engineering fixes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, automotive, systems, industrial, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in automotive, autonomous vehicles, robotics, aerospace, consumer electronics, industrial equipment, or a related technical operations environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical, software-enabled, or vehicle systems using structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
  • Ability to interpret technical information, work-order history, diagnostic data, logs, measurements, and operational metrics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to technicians, operators, engineers, and leadership.
  • Ability to work on-site at Milford Proving Ground and travel approximately 10%. A valid driver’s license may be required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with autonomous vehicles, advanced driver-assistance systems, robotics fleets, or other safety-critical vehicle systems.
  • Knowledge of software-defined vehicle architecture, vehicle compute, electronic control units, over-the-air updates, and hardware or software change management.
  • Experience with automotive diagnostics, vehicle networks, sensors, calibration, localization, connectivity, or autonomous-driving integration.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, telemetry analysis, reliability dashboards, FMEA, fault-tree analysis, 8D, FRACAS, or statistical process control.
  • Experience supporting hardware retrofits, validation drives, closed-course or public-road testing, and return-to-service decisions.

Culture & Benefits

  • Safety First is emphasized, including stopping, escalating, or containing work when conditions create unacceptable risk.
  • Health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, retirement savings, life insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and employee assistance benefits.
  • Tuition assistance, GM vehicle discounts, and other health and wellbeing programs.
  • The role may be eligible for relocation benefits.

Hiring process
