Salesforce Software Engineer (Salesforce)

Location: Austin, TX; on-site work required three days per week

Salary: $105,700–$132,100 USD annually, plus performance bonuses and equity

What you will do

• Design and evolve Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms, including metadata frameworks, custom objects, data models, workflows, and automation.
• Define Salesforce architecture standards, coding guidelines, integration patterns, governance practices, and long-term platform roadmaps.
• Architect secure integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using MuleSoft, AWS, REST, OAuth, and related technologies.
• Lead implementation of Data Cloud, person accounts, skill-based routing, omni-channel capabilities, and Einstein AI features from design through production.
• Drive org hygiene, technical debt reduction, performance optimization, and compliance with Salesforce Governor Limits.
• Mentor Salesforce developers and administrators, conduct design reviews, and align technical roadmaps with product, business systems, and engineering leadership.

Requirements

• Ability to work on-site in the Austin, TX offices three days per week.
• 8+ years of Salesforce architecture and implementation experience with deep expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Expert knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL optimization, Salesforce Governor Limits, performance optimization, and data modeling.
• Experience designing secure, scalable integrations with REST APIs, OAuth, SSO, and MuleSoft.
• Experience architecting multi-org, multi-cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of data governance, SAML, multi-tenancy, compliance frameworks, and executive-level technical communication.

Nice to have

• AWS, MuleSoft, or Heroku integration experience.
• Experience with Einstein Analytics, Einstein Copilot, or other AI-driven Salesforce capabilities.
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect certification.
• Healthcare or regulated industry experience.
