Operations Lead (Electronics Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Coordinate daily production priorities, work assignments, and resource allocation with Operations Supervisors.
• Lead and motivate production team members while providing training, coaching, and on-the-job guidance.
• Monitor cycle times, line utilization, productivity, overall equipment effectiveness, quality, and quantity objectives.
• Investigate equipment downtime, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase throughput, reduce defects, and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain production records, support operational reporting, and promote compliance with safe operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, Statistical Process Control reporting, manufacturing test processes, and automated inventory systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to train and mentor manufacturing personnel.
• Ability to work extended periods on a production floor, frequently stand and walk, handle materials, and safely operate a manual pallet jack.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a manufacturing leadership, lead, or supervisory capacity.
