Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: New York; remote work aligned with West Coast hours, with SF office access

hirify.global is partnering with a well-funded Series D AI startup building an observability and evaluation platform for AI applications in production.

What you will do

• Partner with enterprise ML and GenAI teams to understand and improve AI performance in production.
• Lead technical discussions with data scientists and engineers, and communicate with directors and executives.
• Advise customers on GenAI and ML best practices, model evaluation, and production deployment.
• Demonstrate the product to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Share customer insights with engineering and product teams to influence the product roadmap.
• Identify and drive expansion opportunities within existing enterprise accounts.

Requirements

• Background as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or Engineer working with ML or GenAI applications in production.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks and LLM or agentic tooling.
• Strong understanding of the ML lifecycle, including feature generation, training, deployment, and real-time scoring.
• Proficiency in Python or another programming language.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to make complex technical concepts accessible to different audiences.

Nice to have

• Customer-facing experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, CSE, or Consultant.
