Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote role associated with New York, New York; U.S.-based position

What you will do

• Embed with customer organizations and build production-grade AI workflows and applications on the Domino platform.
• Develop specialized inference workflows, cloud and data integrations, interactive applications, CI/CD extensions, and platform solutions.
• Deploy and operate solutions across the full MLOps lifecycle, including development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Advise data science teams and technical and business stakeholders on Domino best practices and solution design.
• Create reusable playbooks, integration templates, and deployment guides to improve delivery across the Forward Deployed Engineering practice.
• Translate customer and field intelligence into feedback for SRE, Support, and Product teams.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong engineering foundation with deep proficiency in Python and familiarity with SQL, R, and Bash.
• Experience with Kubernetes or managed Kubernetes services such as EKS, AKS, or GKE, as well as Docker and cloud architecture on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience delivering machine learning workflows, model deployment and monitoring, GPU workloads, and generative AI or agent frameworks.
• Experience working in highly regulated or constrained environments involving compliance, data security, and infrastructure limitations.
• Strong communication, technical discovery, solutioning, troubleshooting, and customer consultation skills.
