Accounts Receivable Specialist (SaaS)

What you will do

• Approve Salesforce sales orders and review customer invoices for accuracy and tax compliance.
• Manage e-invoicing, vendor setup, tax exemption certificates, and billing inquiries through customer procurement platforms.
• Lead collection activities, issue dunning and credit hold notices, contact overdue customers, and recommend collection agency referrals or bad debt write-offs.
• Resolve billing discrepancies with sales operations, customer success, deal desk, and other internal departments.
• Perform month-end reconciliation between Salesforce and NetSuite and provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Support technical accounting and revenue activities and identify opportunities to improve the Virtual Post Mail process.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and NetSuite.
• Experience with e-invoicing platforms such as Ariba or Coupa and tax platforms such as Avalara.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, plus strong analytical, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate proactively across departments and meet deliverable deadlines in a remote environment.
