Accounting Manager (SaaS)

hirify.global is a New York-based technology company building a platform that helps laundromats, dry cleaners, and garment care businesses start, manage, and grow.

What you will do

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across all ledgers.
• Manage and mentor a small team of staff accountants and provide guidance on transactions and technical accounting matters.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation.
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support external audits and tax filings while overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience managing or mentoring others.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with modern accounting tools such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Ramp, Brex, or Salesforce.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company is advantageous.
