Accounting Systems & AI Professional (AI)

Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA; U.S. work authorization or eligibility for required ITAR authorizations is required.

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead accounting transformation through systems, automation, and enterprise technology initiatives.
• Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, testing, UAT, go-live, and executive-level reporting.
• Optimize NetSuite, including the general ledger, subledgers, workflows, saved searches, and SuiteScript customizations.
• Optimize Salesforce quote-to-cash and CPQ integration points relevant to revenue and billing.
• Design and deploy AI agents and LLM-based tools for reconciliations, close tasks, variance analysis, journal entry preparation, and reporting.
• Partner with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to build integrations, internal tools, dashboards, data pipelines, and system controls.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of combined experience in accounting or finance operations and systems administration.
• Hands-on experience building or deploying AI/LLM automation, agents, workflow automation, RPA, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, including close, reconciliations, and revenue.
• Experience working directly with engineers on technical requirements and integrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or Computer Science.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth technology or manufacturing environment.
• Scripting ability with Python, SuiteScript, or similar technologies.
• Active CPA license.
• Experience communicating complex solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.
