Service Project Manager (HVAC)

Location: On-site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, five days per week; projects cover South Dakota and Northern Iowa.

Annual base salary: $98,926.66–$126,200.00.

What you will do

• Manage commercial and industrial HVAC turnkey and large repair projects from development through completion.
• Support quotes, proposals, site walks, pre-sales scoping, and total-solution development.
• Control project scope, schedules, financial forecasts, cash flow, expenses, collections support, and backlog reviews.
• Manage change orders, subcontractor selection and execution, procurement, permits, materials, billing, and contract documentation.
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, account managers, customers, and internal stakeholders while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Lead project administration, regulatory compliance documentation, safety coordination, and project communications.

Requirements

• Advanced understanding of HVAC retrofit, modification, repair, and replacement projects in commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong leadership, organization, verbal communication, written communication, and ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction project management, or an associate degree combined with 5–8 years of commercial HVAC service project management experience.
• Experience with project schedules or project management software.
• Ability to work on-site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, five days per week.
