Maintenance Technician 2 (Manufacturing)

Location: Gainesville, Georgia, United States; onsite manufacturing environment. 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Repair mechanical breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and install production equipment.
• Use electrical meters, wire single-phase motors and sensors, and troubleshoot fuses, relays, and other basic electrical issues.
• Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, and nitrogen systems, make hydraulic hoses, and connect water, oil, pneumatic, and nitrogen lines.
• Perform TIG, MIG, and stick welding, soldering, drilling, tapping, and other fabrication work.
• Operate manual mills, lathes, drill presses, band saws, buffers, and sanders to repair or produce tooling.
• Maintain preventive-maintenance compliance, document work in CMMS, operate forklifts safely, and follow all safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Broad experience with hydraulics and pneumatics, PLC-based machinery, gauges, and advanced equipment troubleshooting.
• Proficient FOX Level 2 Maintenance Technician qualification.
• Ability to complete at least 95% of facility assembly preventive-maintenance work and maintain at least 90% CMMS logging and preventive-maintenance compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
