Pipeline Scheduler - East Region (Natural Gas)

What you will do

• Coordinate daily scheduling activities for Eastern Interstate Natural Gas pipeline assets.
• Analyze and resolve issues involving transportation scheduling, allocations, and imbalances.
• Process nominations and confirmations in line with federally mandated deadlines.
• Work with producers, marketers, downstream interconnects, pipelines, and internal business owners to manage physical flow and commercial activities.
• Provide customer support and resolve scheduling-related inquiries by telephone.
• Lead special projects and contribute to testing system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of gas industry experience preferred; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
• One to three years of natural gas scheduling experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize competing deadlines, and manage multiple pipelines simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, analytical, conceptualization, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work in an open-space office environment with continual phone conversations and occasional extended hours during deadlines or extreme weather events.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NAESB standards for nominations, confirmations, scheduling, and allocations.
• Experience with hirify.global’s DART system.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; Power BI experience is desired.
• Customer service experience explaining complex concepts by telephone.
