Pipeline Scheduler (Crude Oil Movements)

What you will do

• Plan pipeline schedules to optimize utilization, hydraulics, energy consumption, DRA usage, and operating costs.
• Manage monthly movement schedules and adjust them continuously for operational upsets or emergencies.
• Prepare and distribute daily operational and shipper inventory reports covering supply positions, inventory balances, and potential concerns.
• Analyze customer requirements to determine batch sizes, sequencing, grades, and timing at origin and destination points.
• Coordinate schedules and instructions with shippers, connecting carriers, the Operations Center, and field personnel.
• Identify commercial growth opportunities, scheduling efficiencies, and synergies that reduce system downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• Five years of industry experience in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of downstream or pipeline operations preferred.
• Experience with Excel, including data manipulation and writing functions, as well as Outlook and Word.
• Availability to remain on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Ability to work at the San Antonio, Texas or Findlay, Ohio location.
