Electrician Multiple Shifts (Electrical Systems)

Location: Lancaster, Ohio, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

Salary: USD 30–34.50 per hour, plus possible shift differential

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components in machinery and equipment.
• Use electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and engineering specifications to complete installations and repairs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of operating and installing a variety of complete electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong understanding of how circuits, equipment, and controls operate and work together.
• Knowledge of wire gauges, conduits, fittings, relays, boxes, circuit breakers, and other electrical devices.
• Ability to interpret and apply the National Electrical Code, local codes, building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to use trade formulas for calculating voltage, voltage drop, current, resistance, inductance, capacitance, power factor, and related circuit properties.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and a wide variety of test equipment.
