What you will do
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, renovate, and modify electrical and control systems.
- Install equipment, run main and branch circuits, and build distribution panels and control wiring.
- Assemble and fabricate electrical power and monitoring systems and related components.
- Read electrical and mechanical drawings, project plans, scope documents, and timelines.
- Coordinate with engineering, system and mechanical design teams, project managers, supervisors, and maintenance personnel.
- Plan projects, order materials, support technical troubleshooting, and keep work on schedule.
Requirements
- Technical degree, accredited apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of commercial or industrial electrician experience.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment from 12V DC to 208V three-phase AC.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code, NFPA, and OSHA requirements.
- Strong safety awareness, communication, teamwork, and service skills.
- Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds and work overtime when required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of California Electrical Codes and CSA standards.
