What you will do

• Develop and evaluate annuity product opportunities using competitive research, business-case analysis, and actuarial judgment.
• Assess product profitability and perform advanced risk analysis with actuarial modeling tools and pricing assumptions.
• Support products from design through launch, including regulatory filings, responses to inquiries, and administrative-system specifications.
• Partner with Actuarial and other functions to integrate products into downstream processes and deliver scalable implementations.
• Review product and marketing materials for alignment with product design and identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Use technology and AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, research, and routine work.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant actuarial experience in annuity or life insurance, including product development, pricing, or risk management.
• Experience with fixed annuities, fixed indexed annuities, and/or registered index-linked annuities.
• Strong actuarial modeling, analytical, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, and technical-writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation or higher.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Python, SQL, or other programming and database tools are beneficial.
