Production Supervisor - 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Edwardsville, Kansas, USA; onsite, 1st shift

What you will do

• Direct, coordinate, and plan production activities for a department and shift under the master production schedule.
• Lead hourly employees operating milling, mixing, canning, and related manufacturing equipment.
• Communicate procedures, interpret production reports and job orders, and assign duties.
• Manage daily workflow, update the Operational Data Entry Network, and analyze production data.
• Support Overall Equipment Effectiveness, uptime KPIs, customer demands, and corporate programs.
• Promote a strong safety culture and support the growth and career development of new hires.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, and supervisory or managerial work.
• Mechanical skills and knowledge of production processes, with strong math, written, reading, and comprehension skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer tools.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams, with knowledge of manufacturing principles such as OEE, Lean, or TPM.

Nice to have

• SAP knowledge.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Spanish, sign language, or another additional language.
• Ink manufacturing knowledge, inventory control experience, or change management experience.
