Project Manager / Scrum Master (Drupal)

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship required. The position is based in McLean, Virginia, with 0% travel.

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Lead Federal IT web development projects from kickoff and discovery through deployment and post-launch operations.
• Serve as Scrum Master and facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of an enterprise Drupal CMS website, including setup, architecture, launch, and maintenance.
• Coordinate creative, UX/UI, content, and technical teams to deliver accessible, brand-aligned experiences meeting Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 standards.
• Manage schedules, priorities, risks, blockers, team velocity, project health, and earned value metrics.
• Maintain client communication with government stakeholders, CORs, and program managers through status meetings and progress reports.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 8+ years of project management and Agile experience.
• Experience managing full-lifecycle enterprise web development and CMS deployment projects.
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coordinating multidisciplinary technical, creative, and content teams.
• Active PMP certification and an Agile certification such as Certified ScrumMaster, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Jira and project scheduling software such as MS Project, together with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience leading Drupal website development projects from start to launch.
• Experience coordinating external creative, multimedia, and UX/UI partners.
• Federal Government contracts experience and familiarity with FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, Section 508, and WCAG 2.2.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud hosting and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, LLMs, and AI-enabled website features or assistants.
