Senior Software Engineer (MANTL)

Location: US Remote; candidates must be eligible to work in the United States

Salary: $140,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, document, and test backend services with a focus on long-term performance and reliability.
• Break down complex product requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
• Make architectural decisions by evaluating tradeoffs across different approaches.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and edge-case coverage.
• Provide technical guidance, architectural input, and code reviews for teammates.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience with backend technologies, including Node.js, Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservice architecture, and domain-driven design.
• Exposure to ReactJS and NestJS.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Strong system design skills and the ability to communicate and advocate for architectural decisions.
• Eligibility to work in the United States for full-time employment; employment sponsorship is not available.
