Branch Manager (Electrical Distribution)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, motivate, and train branch personnel while addressing performance and personnel issues.
• Manage branch profitability, P&L performance, sales targets, net income, assets, and expense budgets.
• Develop sales and operational initiatives, including customer digital adoption and market development.
• Oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, facility security, equipment, and safety standards.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, sales, marketing, and other business partners.
• Support branch operations through deliveries, counter sales, order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sales, operations, electrical distribution, or a similar B2B industry.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; a four-year degree is preferred.
• Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, sales strategy, customer service, negotiation, and team coaching.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and an ERP system such as Solar Eclipse.
• If making deliveries, a valid driver's license, required medical certification, and a satisfactory motor vehicle record are required.

Nice to have

• Certification to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to manage P&Ls.
• Four-year bachelor's degree.
