Senior Software Engineer II, Mobile - Revenue Experimentation (AI Native)

Location: Remote within the United States or Canada

Salary: $118,500–$216,500 USD for US candidates; $171,500–$201,000 CAD for Canadian candidates. Total compensation includes RSUs and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and build Android growth and monetization features, including subscription paywalls, pricing tests, ad placement and mediation experiments, in-app purchase flows, and upgrade surfaces.
• Translate product and data hypotheses into shippable experiments and collaborate with product, design, data science, and analytics.
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot for specification, implementation, testing, review, and documentation.
• Instrument experiments with reliable exposure logging and analytics, and monitor performance, memory, battery, ANR, and crash-free metrics.
• Establish AI-native Android engineering practices, contribute to architecture and code reviews, mentor engineers, and participate in on-call and incident response.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Android software engineering experience shipping production consumer apps at scale.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs.
• Strong Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android View system, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android toolchain experience.
• Experience with Android architecture patterns, feature flags, A/B testing, exposure logging, holdouts, guardrail metrics, and mobile performance diagnostics.
• Experience with Android CI/CD, Gradle, modular build systems, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context-window management, and MCP or function calling.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, plus ownership, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Statsig, LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, Eppo, GrowthBook, or a similar experimentation platform.
• Experience with mobile analytics pipelines, Bayesian or sequential testing, and consumer subscription, paywall, pricing, or onboarding surfaces.
• Ability to ship across another platform such as iOS, web, or backend.
• Contributions to mobile open source or internal developer tooling.
