Senior Project Manager (Sports Venues)

Location: London, United Kingdom; the role is based in Sheffield and requires on-site presence during the construction phase.

What you will do

• Manage project delivery across feasibility, design development, planning approvals, procurement, construction, fit-out, testing, and operational readiness.
• Coordinate clients, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors against project requirements, programme, and budget targets.
• Manage project controls, reporting, cost estimates, change procedures, risk registers, and mitigation measures.
• Administer contracts as an Employer’s Agent and support consultant, contractor, and supplier procurement.
• Monitor construction progress on site, resolve risks and design conflicts, and oversee safety and logistics procedures.
• Coordinate statutory approvals, testing and commissioning, operational manuals, equipment acceptance, and project close-out.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction or a related services industry, including project management and Employer’s Agent roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of major project phases, construction change processes, budget management, and architectural and engineering plans.
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, programmes, and project agreements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications, especially Project and Excel, and the ability to work accountably under pressure.
