Technical Program Manager, Principal - Software Development

Location: Space Coast, Florida, United States; U.S. citizenship, nationality, permanent residency, refugee status, or asylum status is required.

What you will do

• Lead the release and deployment of large-scale software systems across multiple operational sites.
• Coordinate design, development, testing, integration, and production deployment across technical teams.
• Own implementation plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, technical requirements, and release schedules.
• Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain, safety, launch, maintenance, customers, and corporate stakeholders.
• Define program goals, roadmaps, success criteria, KPIs, and resource priorities while driving measurable improvements.
• Prepare program narratives and updates, report progress to stakeholders and executive audiences, and resolve escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field.
• 10+ years of technical product or program management experience with software engineering and technology development teams.
• 7+ years of direct experience working with engineering teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
• Strong judgment, negotiation, communication, analytical, leadership, and risk-management skills.
• Must meet U.S. export-control employment eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical paths.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience defining KPIs and SLAs for large businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, and data analysis.
• Track record of delivering large, cross-functional initiatives while managing competing priorities.
