Product Manager (Nexus Repository)

What you will do

• Own the roadmap and feature execution for the core Nexus Repository product.
• Identify and remove delivery bottlenecks to ensure timely execution.
• Define mechanisms to measure product performance, adoption, and future functionality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Support, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success.
• Partner with Product Managers responsible for platform, security, and AI governance features.
• Improve product management practices, prioritization, and execution methods.

Requirements

• Hands-on software development or engineering experience, including past software projects or coding experience.
• Practical understanding of software development at scale, enterprise compliance, artifact repositories, and security controls within the SDLC.
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership and ability to overcome organizational roadblocks.
• Experience working with Engineering Directors, Product Designers, and engineering teams.
• Knowledge of enterprise software, SaaS, or highly regulated environments is valuable.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience transitioning from software development into Product Management.
• Deep technical fluency in developer workflows, repositories, and SDLC security controls.
• Experience in banking, finance, or enterprise SaaS environments.
