What you will do
- Interview law enforcement professionals, emergency dispatchers, legal clerks, and other stakeholders to identify AI opportunities.
- Define product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications for engineering and data science teams.
- Conduct competitive analysis and gap analysis of public safety products, documentation, and APIs.
- Monitor generative AI, computer vision, weapon detection, and Drone as First Responder developments.
- Evaluate the responsible integration of new AI models into public safety and justice workflows.
- Support roadmap and backlog prioritization based on impact, feasibility, KPIs, and justice-sector regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience delivering SaaS offerings to market.
- 1–3 years of experience working with generative AI technologies.
- Foundational understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, including data labeling, training, testing, and deployment.
- Ability to use data and KPIs such as model accuracy and human-in-the-loop efficiency to guide product decisions.
- Ability to synthesize complex technical trends into actionable business insights.
