XPLORER 2027 Airframe Design Optimization & Development in RFE Components (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Complete a six-month curricular practicum from February to July 2027.
• Develop a Bachelor's Degree Final Project on additive manufacturing applications in aerospace components.
• Investigate 3D-printing opportunities for aircraft design and maintenance.
• Study topological optimization of structural fittings and pipe supports, including THSA fittings and fuel piping brackets.
• Explore 3D-printed elements for maintenance platforms.
• Work with an assigned tutor and contribute to multidisciplinary hirify.global projects.

Requirements

• Currently studying for an engineering degree and completing the final year of studies.
• English at minimum B2 level; C1 is desirable.
• Spanish at minimum B1 level.
• General knowledge of structures and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work within agreed timescales as part of an integrated, international, multidisciplinary team.
• Teamwork, collaboration, innovation, and the ability to contribute ideas to the product value chain.

Nice to have

• CATIA V5 skills.
• English at C1 level.
