XPLORER 2027 Optimization of Load Introduction Analysis in Structural Tests (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain. Part-time onsite internship, 5 hours per day and 25 hours per week, from February to July 2026.

What you will do

• Complete a six-month curricular internship and Bachelor’s Degree Final Project.
• Study and optimize load introduction analysis for structural tests of manned and unmanned aircraft.
• Develop tools for the design and manufacturing of complex structures used in structural testing.
• Contribute to concept and preliminary design phases for aircraft component structural tests.
• Improve existing processes, harmonize tools, and optimize industrial resources used in structural test preparation.
• Work with a tutor through continuous project monitoring.

Requirements

• Currently studying for a degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
• Spanish at minimum C1 level.
• English at minimum B2 level.
• General knowledge of aircraft structures, aerostructure design and manufacturing, and structural stress methods.
• Knowledge of Finite Element Method analysis and programming in Python, MATLAB, or Visual Basic.
• Analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, collaboration, and international-environment skills.
