Aerodynamics Engineer (Military Derivatives)

What you will do

• Design and characterize air inlets and outlets for aircraft air systems and APUs.
• Create high-quality aerodynamic surface geometry and 3D models using CATIA and/or 3DX while meeting structural and manufacturing requirements.
• Set up, run, and analyze CFD simulations for internal and external aerodynamic performance, including drag, stability, and control.
• Prepare technical reports and present simulation results and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Structures, Propulsion, and Systems engineering disciplines on integrated aircraft design.
• Support wind tunnel and flight testing, including preparation, execution, post-processing, and analysis.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• 4–5 years of professional experience in aerodynamic design within the aerospace industry.
• Demonstrated experience designing and characterizing air inlets and outlets.
• Expert proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and surface shaping with CATIA and/or 3DX.
• Extensive hands-on experience with CFD simulations for complex aerospace applications and strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, and aircraft stability and control.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansys Fluent, ANSA, or Fluent Meshing.
• Experience with aerodynamic optimization methods, including adjoint solvers and MDO.
• Knowledge of aircraft certification requirements such as EASA CS-25.
• Programming or scripting skills in Python or MATLAB for process automation and data analysis.
