Manager, Duty Drawback & Trade Recovery Programs

Location: Mettawa, IL; Fond Du Lac, WI or Remote. Remote work is available within the United States.

Salary: $103,200–$144,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Build and lead the global duty drawback program, with primary focus on the United States.
• Identify drawback opportunities across marine, propulsion, electronics, and component imports.
• Implement enterprise drawback software and develop an import/export matching database.
• Manage drawback claims, accelerated payment processes, CBP correspondence, audits, desk reviews, and information requests.
• Develop SOPs, controls, audit documentation, KPIs, and recovery forecasts.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Customs Brokers, Legal, and Trade Compliance teams while managing external providers and training internal personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, International Trade, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in duty drawback, customs compliance, or trade recovery.
• At least 3 years of direct experience preparing or managing U.S. duty drawback claims.
• Experience with ACE, customs entry data analysis, and duty drawback software.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience leading projects and implementing business processes.

Nice to have

• Licensed Customs Broker qualification.
• Experience implementing drawback software platforms.
• Experience with manufacturing drawback and substitution drawback programs.
• SAP, Power BI, SQL, or comparable analytics experience.
• Experience transitioning processes from outsourced providers to internal teams.
