Assistant Designer, Baby

What you will do

• Support the development of baby and children's apparel lines through color palettes, trend and market research, line sheets, and design cards.
• Learn and apply garment construction, fabrications, silhouettes, trims, and color balance principles.
• Participate in fittings with the technical team and manage ongoing fit changes.
• Use Illustrator, Miro, PLM, Vibe, and other design-development tools to create sketches, line sheets, and product materials.
• Prepare samples, swatches, and files for creative reviews, market sample reviews, and team meetings.
• Collaborate with managers and cross-functional partners while tracking deliverables and adapting to changes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Basic knowledge of garment construction, silhouettes, sewing techniques, fabrications, and trims.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, communication, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret market trends for the brands, demonstrated through a professional portfolio.
• Ability to work in a creative, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management tools is preferred.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of apparel design experience, preferably in children's clothing.
